Ful medammas
Ingredients:
1 lb dried ful or fava beans
3-4 cloves garlic, chopped 1 tsp salt 1/4 cup lemon juice
Garnish:
1/4 cup olive oil
1 tbl chopped fresh parsley 1 onion sliced chopped hard boiled eggs
Directions:
Boil ful or fava beans for 1 to 2 hours over medium heat or until tender.
Drain water. Add salt, lemon juice, and garlic. Mix well. Pour in bowl and garnish with olive oil, parsley, sliced onion, and chopped hard boiled eggs. Serve with pita bread. |
